Active Holidays in Ljubljana
Ljubljana is a very green and colourful city, whose inhabitants are mainly outdoor and active people. The mountain region of Gorenjska extends into the heart of the city, where you can hike or cycle just a few minutes from your hotel. Dedicated hikers will love a day on the E7 hiking trail that runs close to Ljubljana. Canoeing, kayaking and rafting are available on the rapids of the Sava river at Tacen, the venue of the World Championships, on the city outskirts. The closest Alpine ski areas are about 30 minutes away by car.
